Published on the occasion of Yamamoto’s ‘Dream Shop‘ exhibition held at Momu, Antwerp after two chapters in Firenze and Paris in 2005 (’Correspondences’ at Galleria d'Arte Moderna di Palazzo Pitti and ‘Juste des vêtements‘ at Musée de la Mode et du Textile), this small-format catalogue traces a dialogue between Yohji's creations and the works of art exhibited in the three museums.
Richly illustrated and supplemented with numerous notes, it offers a reflection on the artist's creative process through a glimpse into his studio, while examining the influences of great couturiers and artists on his oeuvre.
