As early as the 1980s, the Whitney Museum and MoMA launched the ambitious ‘Andy Warhol Film Project’ to archive and restore more than 500 films. This programme highlighted the artist’s radical experiments.
 The 1994 retrospective exhibition ‘Part II’ focused on a selection of pioneering works filmed between 1963 and 1965.
