Published on the occasion of Hussein Chalayan’s exhibition held at the Groninger Museum from 17 April to 4 September 2005 and edited in collaboration with NAi Publishers it is both an exhibition catalogue and a monograph celebrating a decade of ingenious design. In ten years, Hussein Chalayan has realized more than twenty collections, the most important of which come into their own in the form of outfits, installations, photo and video work. This retrospective was the first major solo exhibition of the Turkish-Cypriot fashion designer born in Nicosia in 1970.
