Published on the occasion of important Germano Celant’s exhibition held at C.A.P.C., Bordeaux from 12 March to 13 April 1982, this catalogue presents the sculptural works of ten European and American artists grouped around the concept of Arte Povera. 
Offering a retrospective of trends in artistic research since 1960, the Arte Povera theorist highlights the theoretical lag of the founding concepts and emphasises their critical implications. Includes photographic documentation, index and bibliography for each artists, reprinted texts written by critics or interviews with the artists.
