Published on the occasion of Felix Gonzalez-Torres retrospective at Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea, Santiago de Compostela, Spain. 12
Dec. 1995 – 3 Mar. 1996, this catalogue documents the exhibition curated by Gloria Moure and Nancy Spector.
Titled (A Possible Landscape) this was the second of three venues next to The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, NY. 3 Mar. – 10 May 1995 and Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, France. 11 Apr. – 16 Jun. 1996. Gonzalez-Torres was intricately involved in both its content and design: he wanted a readable book, not a catalogue per se - something, he said, that one could take to the beach.

Pleasure was an integral part of his art (and his life). While he understood that art was innately political and, by necessity, a vehicle for cultural criticism, he believed that social critique and enjoyment were not, by any means, mutually exclusive. For him, beauty was a tool for seduction and a means of contestation.  Born in Cuba in 1957, Felix Gonzalez-Torres passed away the 9th of January, 1996 in Miami at the age of 39.

This second-hand publication bears small traces of its previous life.
