This publication which came about in collaboration with Obscuur: Fotografietijdschrift as an exhibition catalogue for the eponymous exhibition at S.M.A.K. depicts subtile Braeckman’s exploration of ephemeral moments, interior spaces, textures, and shadow.
The work features 36 full‑bleed black‑and‑white photographic plates printed as two‑page spreads, paired with additional illustrations. Includes a transcript of a conversation between the photographer and Erik Eelbode, presented in both Dutch and English, which offers insight into Braeckman’s process, his visual concerns, and the conceptual framing of this series.
