Céline Mathieu (born in 1989) is an artist and writer. Her installations are often site-specific or context-specific and incorporate sound, scent, sculpture, performance, text and various materials. Her work is both sensory and conceptual. In her practice, Céline Mathieu explores the flow of thoughts and materials. Material and economic cycles merge with hyper-personal elements, resulting in fluid work that can never be fully grasped. xxx gathers recent writings, texts that hover between diary entry, work reflection, description and mushy relations.
